Luminelu

Luminelu is made with an indigenous variety of myrtle with a weaving technique specific to Corsican fishermen. The technique is called Nasse and was used to built traps for crustaceans.
The lamp is one of the three projects made with Corsican weaver Natalina Figarella during the Fabbricca Design workshop "Manu e Ciarbellu" organised by the Fundazione di l’Università di Corsica in partnership with Luli Shop, an online marketplace dedicated to Corsican made products.
